Nu Alpha Gamma of Dallas County, a group of active and retired professional women educators, has issued an April 1 deadline reminder for its two annual scholarships.
Each scholarship is worth $500 and is awarded in mid-April to a college junior or senior, male or female, majoring in education.
Applicants must have graduated from a high school in Dallas County or be a resident of Dallas County and be majoring in either a B.S. or B.A. program in order to be eligible. The deadline for applications is April 1.
The mission of Nu Alpha Gamma, a chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, is the promotion of the professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. Members of Nu Alpha Gamma Chapter are active or retired educators in Dallas County.
