The city of Woodward hosted its annual spring clean-up event Saturday from 7-11 a.m., with additional dumpsters provided by Walters Sanitary Service Inc. of Boone.
Woodward Mayor Todd Folkerts said he was grateful to all residents who took the time to clean their properties.
“I believe clean-up day was a huge success,” said Folkerts, who also had “a huge thank you to the Woodard Academy for their support. The young gentleman they provided did an outstanding job. And thanks to the city employees and the city council for all the hard work put in this morning.”
