
A Perry man was arrested for harassment Saturday after allegedly threatening his mother with physical harm unless she returned a large knife she took from him.
Bryan Osvaldo Juarez Ordonez, 26, of 1803 First Ave., Perry, was charged with second-degree harassment.
The victim entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. Saturday said she received a series of text messages from Juarez Ordonez beginning about 4:15 a.m. Saturday.
According to court records, Juarez Ordonez allegedly threatened to “hit” his mother, “break” her tooth and send her to the hospital.
Juarez Ordonez is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing July 2 in Dallas County District Court.
