DES MOINES, Iowa — Data from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) indicate total COVID-19 deaths statewide in Iowa stood at 686 at about 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 17. In Dallas County, 29 deaths have been reported.
The total for positive cases statewide stands at 26,051, including 1,076 in Dallas County.
Of Iowa’s population of 3.1 million people, 259,002 have been tested, about 8.3% of the population.
