
MASON CITY, Iowa — Saturday marks the 25th anniversary of the disappearance here of Jodi Huisentruit, the Mason City Police Department said in a statement issue Saturday.
Huisentruit, a 27-year-old television anchorperson in Mason City, went missing June 27, 1995. Authorities believe she was abducted from her home, but the case has never been solved.
The Mason City Police Department statement read:
We pause today to stand with Jodi’s family as they remember her and remain hopeful for answers about her disappearance.
The investigation into her disappearance continues and is an active case being worked by the Mason City Police Department and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation. We appreciate the work the media has done to keep Jodi’s story in the public eye in support of our investigative efforts.
