Roy Howard Coll III, 24, of Gilbert was arrested Friday on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on an original Perry Police Department charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

A Gilbert man was arrested Friday on a Dallas County warrant for an incident occurring in Perry in 2018.

Roy Howard Coll III, 24, of Gilbert was charged with failure to appear for a Jan. 14, 2019,  hearing in Dallas County District Court in connection with a Dec. 30, 2018, incident in which he was arrested by the Perry Police Department on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

A warrant for Coll’s arrest was issued Jan. 29, 2019, and served Friday.

Coll was held in the Dallas County Jail prior to posting a $600 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled to return for a hearing in Dallas County District Court.

Coll was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in 2017 in Guthrie County, but the charge was later dismissed in Guthrie County District Court.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
