Someone lost control of burning debris Monday afternoon near the Perry Water Pollution Control Facility off Ivey Place and called for assistance from the Perry Volunteer Fire Department.
Firefighters responded about 2 p.m. and quickly restored control to the burning brush pile on land owned by David C. Menz and Stephen K. Manz, according to county records.
No injuries were reported.
