- A vehicle driven by Lindsey Peterson of Adel was traveling northward on N Avenue and waiting to make a turn onto Fairground Road when it was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Hannah Welch of Dallas Center. No injuries were reported. Damage to Peterson’s vehicle was estimated at $1,000, and damage to Welch’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
- David A. Airhart of Madrid was cited and released for fifth-degree criminal mischief.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
