The Hotel Pattee in Perry introduced new breakfast, lunch and dinner menus this week, a move they like to make every three to six months, according to Restaurant Manager Jaimie Hockings.
“We like to bring in new things and update our starches pretty regularly,” Hockings said. Chicken or broccoli alfredo and Mediterranean bow tie pasta are new additions to the dinner menu.
For mid-day meals, diners will see some changes to the macaroni and cheese selections, with the fiesta mac returning and a new addition, Jaimie’s mac, featuring country fried chicken with maple-glazed bacon and red onions.
Two hearty new breakfast items are making their debut: country friend steak and steak and eggs.
Cheddar cheese curds are new to the appetizer menu, and Angie’s Tea Garden in Jefferson is still supplying one cake and one cheese cake weekly, complementing David’s Diner’s own crème brûlée and blackberry truffle.
Feasts for the ears are also served up regularly at the Hotel Pattee. This weekend, for instance, Deanna and Jenni returned to the hotel for an outdoor performance at Soumas Court Friday night. Like their June show, this week’s performance by the singer songwriters was also received with praise of their delicate harmonies and sensitive lyrics.
Tim Earp played a solo acoustic set in Soumas Court Aug. 14. With a loyal Perry fan base, Earp brings a fingerpicking country style to his songs.
