DES MOINES — The IGHSAU has revealed the playoff routes for all five classes of volleyball.
Perry (3-24) opens play at Bondurant-Farrar (17-10) in Class 4A Region 4 action Oct. 20. The winners advances to face host DC-G (11-3) Oct. 22, with the Regional Final at a site to be determined Oct. 27. The top half of the bracket has Marion (17-9) hosting the winner of the Oct. 20 match between host North Polk (19-12) and Ballard (9-13).
Class 3A action begins Oct. 19, with Des Moines Christian (19-9) hosting Panorama (6-9), with Saydel (2-19) visiting Roland-Story (21-7) in other Region 3 play. The winners will play Oct. 21, in Roland-Story, with the Regional Final TBD on Oct. 27. Clarion-Goldfield-Dows plays Iowa Falls-Alden and Nevada battles West Marshall in the top half of the bracket.
Woodward-Granger (10-13) will host Madrid (2-8) Oct. 21 when Class 2A Region 4 semifinals are held. South Hamilton (8-18) faces Eagle Grove (0-14) Oct. 18 in the First Round, that winners traveling to South Hardin (18-13) on Oct. 21. South Hardin will host a semifinal Oct. 26, with the Regional Final to be held Oct. 28 at a site to be determined.
IKM-Manning and Ogden meet Oct. 18, with winner to face East Sac County, in the top half of Region 4, with AC/GC facing Earlham.
All records are as of Oct. 10. All matches will begin at 7 p.m.
