INDIANOLA — The Jayette volleyball team saw their overall record fall to 3-24 after suffering four losses at the Indianola Tournament Saturday.
Perry opened play by falling to Indianola (9-9) 21-11, and 21-11, with Clarinda (6-18) topping Perry 21-8, and 21-14. Fort Dodge (6-15) bested Perry, 25-17, and 25-13, with Creston (6-14) knocking off Perry, 25-18, and 25-12.
Jasmine Shriver led the Jayettes with 14 kills, with Kacy Nevitt and Lanie Fish adding eight kills apiece. Jayna Kenney had four kills, with Ashley Cerna and Peyton Tunink each tallying two kills. Kenney provided 26 assists, Quinn Whiton 10, and Shriver and Bella Nath one apiece.
Shriver finished with 17 digs, with Kenney finishing with 12 kills while Nevitt and Callie Steva had 11 apiece. Whiton recorded 10 digs, Cerna eight, Tunink and Addison Huntington three each and Taylor Atwell one. Nevitt had 2-1/2 blocks and Fish an assisted block.
The team served 91-of-104 for the tourney, with eight ace serves.
Whiton was 16-of-20 with three aces and Cerna 19-of-24 with two aces. Kenney was 15-16-1, Nevitt 14-14-2, Shriver 10-of-11, Steva 11-of-12, and Tunink 2-of-2.
Perry visits Bondurant-Farrar Tuesday before completing their regular season with a Thursday visit from ADM.
