PANORA — Panorama shortstop Shey Storesund recently signed a Letter of Intent, declaring her intention for continue playing softball for Southwestern Community College in Creston.
The junior hit .362 with 20 singles and a double during the 2020 season. She scored 17 runs and was 8-of-8 on stolen base attempts.
The Panthers were 8-9 overall and 4-6 in WCAC play under head coach Ryan Nail.
SWCC was 5-4 last spring before their season was cancelled by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Spartans were 15-41 in 2019, their last full spring campaign. Head coach Nick Weinmeister will be guiding the team for the fourth season next year.
