June 30, 2021
- Caleb Spencer of Waukee was traveling southbound on U Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle, which entered the ditch near 130th Street and overturned. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000. Spencer was cited and released for driving under suspension and failure to maintain control.
July 1, 2021
- Shelby R. Finestead, 27, of 555 Third St., Minburn, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
- Andrew Crabtree, 37, of 305 29th St., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for violation of a n-contact/protective order.
- Jamal Elawag, 35, of 2350 E. 24th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for second-degree theft.
- Johannan Frost, 22, of 106 Madison St., Waterloo, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
July 2, 2021
- Brian Huckfeldt, 38, of 1915 Warrior Lane, Waukee, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order/protective order.
- Anner Lopez, 33, of 768 Ashby Dr., Waukee, was arrested for first-offense OWI and issued citations for speeding, failure to provide proof of financial liability and no valid driver’s license.
