A Perry man was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for multiple rapes allegedly committed against a female victim between 2004 and 2014.
Timothy Earl Kilmer, 48, of 1815 1/2 W. Fourth St., Perry, was charged with two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, three counts of third-degree sexual abuse and one count of first-offense third-degree sexual abuse-child victim.
The alleged sexual abuse occurred between 2004 and 2006, when the child was under the age of 12, and between 2010 and 2014, when she was 14 or 15 years old, according to court records.
Kilmer allegedly “made a verbal admission statement to other officers while at the hospital due to a suicide attempt regarding the allegations,” according to court records.
A warrant for Kilmer’s arrest was ordered Aug. 23 in Dallas County District Court and served Sept. 22. He is held in the Dallas County Jail and is scheduled for arraignment Oct. 8 in Dallas County District Court.
