WOODWARD — Homecoming at Woodward-Granger continued Thursday with the annual parade, followed by the coronation of the new king and queen at the varsity gym.
Miss Katie Grell was crowned Queen of the Hawks, with Mr. Don David to reign as Hawk King for a year.
Queen candidates included Brayten Ashman, Kenzie Dresback, Rian Jamison, and Darby Nixon, while Paden Drake, Lucas Hansen, Sam Pitman, and Tjaden Smeltzer were on the king’s court.
The theme for Homecoming 2021 is “A Little Bit Country.” The W-G football team will try to give an old-style country whipping to South Hamilton when the two Hawk squads meet tonight at 7 p.m.
