Greene County used scored of 25-11, 25-9 and 25-23 to post a 3-0 win over Perry in HOIC volleyball Tuesday.
The win lifted the visiting Rams to 14-8 overall and 3-2 in league play while the Jayettes fell to 7-18 and 0-5.
Peyton Tunink led the Perry offense with seven kills. Ashley Cerna and Callie Steva had four kills apiece, with Taylor Atwell adding one. Atwell had all 16 assists for the hosts.
Cerna’s 12 digs were a team-high, with Atwell making 10 digs and Addison Huntington eight. Three digs apiece were provided by Kimberly Castillo, Valerie Contreras and Tunink, with Steva having two digs and Kathryn West one.
Cerna served 9-of-10 with one ace and Tunink 9-9-1 while Atwell finished 8-9-1. West was 4-of-5, Huntington 4-of-4, Steva 4-of-4 and Jayna Kenney 1-of-2.
As a team Perry finished 39-of-43 (91 percent) with three aces.
Perry will play Saydel, Des Moines Hoover and Des Moines North in the Jayette Tournament Thursday, then face Ballard, Fort Dodge, Clarinda and host Indianola in tourney play Saturday.
