A Waukee man was arrested Thursday night after allegedly assaulting two women, one of whom was the mother of his child.
Cody Alan Jon Bailey, 31, of 1112 Griffen Court, Waukee, was charged with assault and first-offense domestic abuse assault.
The incident began about 9 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Bel Aire Drive in Waukee, where officers of the Waukee Police Department made contact with the first female victim, who said that she “was trying to feed her 1-year-old earlier in the day” when Bailey allegedly “struck her in the top portion of the head,” according to court records.
The victim said “that she doesn’t have a visible bump on her head currently but when
she rubs her head, it still hurts.”
A second female victim said that Bailey “was intoxicated when he arrived at home” and allegedly “spit blood onto” the victim’s “face” and “pulled his left arm back like he was
going to hit her and stated that he would hit her,” according to court records.
When the victim attempted to run away, Bailey allegedly “threw a clump of dirt or rock at her in their driveway, which hit her bottom and top lip,” according to court records.
Bailey is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $600 cash or surety bond in advance of an initial appearance in Dallas County District Court..
Bailey was convicted of disorderly conduct-fighting or violent behavior in 2013 in Dallas County District Court.
