The closure of Xavier Avenue north of 180th Street will be extended until Tuesday, Oct. 19 as repairs continue to a Northern Natural Gas pipeline, the Dallas County Secondary Roads Department announced Thursday.
Repairs began Oct. 6 on the gas line north of Granger, and the road is now projected to reopen Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 5 p.m.
The previously established detour route remains in effect.
