A goodly crowd attended Friday’s noon start of the First United Methodist Church annual holiday season bake sale and Christmas decoration sale in the Fireside Room of the church.
The sale continues until 6 p.m. Friday and again on Saturday from 8-11 a.m. at 1100 Third St.
Anyone still needing to deck their halls can find not only boughs of holly but lights, figurines, tinsel and baubles galore on the tables ringing the room.
The centerpiece and hub of the room were the tables laden with Christmas candies, cookies, bars, brittles and a universe of similarly sweet treats.
All proceeds support the church’s charitable activities.
