Dec. 2, 2021
- Kirby Eddie of Adel was traveling on U.S. Highway 169 when he slowed for farm machinery in front of him. A vehicle, driven by Cheyenne Spence of Perry, was traveling behind Eddie’s vehicle and slowed also. Jamie Durden of Adel, traveling in a vehicle behind Spence’s vehicle, did not notice the traffic had slowed and struck the rear of Spence’s vehicle, which in turn struck the rear of Eddie’s vehicle. Dallas County EMS responded and examined the victims at the scene. Damage to Eddie’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Damage to Spence’s vehicle was estimated at $12,000. Damage to Durden’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
Dec. 3, 2021
- Jennifer Wilson, 46, of 1519 Old Highway 6, Redfield, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
- Alexander Hand, 28, of 1325 12th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant.
- Douglas Anderson of Redfield was traveling near K Ave on Old Highway 6 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
- Ross Bretsch of Earlham was traveling in the 34000 block of Jewel Drive when his vehicle struck two deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
- Kyle Stone, 20, of 2060 S.E. Parkview Crossing Dr., Waukee, was arrested for driving while license denied, suspended, cancelled or revoked and issued a citation for violation of conditions of restricted license and unsafe passing.

- Joshua Smith, 37, of 1290 S.E. Centennial Parkway, Waukee, was arrested for being a fugitive from justice.
Dec. 5, 2021
- Joshua Springer, 35, of 14082 T Ave., Woodward, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury.
- Christopher Cave, 42, of 1213 Grant St., Redfield, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
- Brooke Huntsman, 31, of 3620 Wright St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
Dec. 6, 2021
- James Bennett, 37, of 2030 Des Moines St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
- Christopher Morgan, 41, of 2510 Maple St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
