- Austin Vanlandingham, 34, of 909 Freeman St., Dexter, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
- Crystal Shaffer of Panora was driving in the 20000 block of U.S. Highway 6 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
- Matthew Fox of Dallas Center was traveling southbound on N Avenue near Maple Ridge when a vehicle, traveling northbound on N Avenue and driven by Laura Shalla of Waukee, turned in front of and collided with Fox’s vehicle, which entered the ditch and overturned. Shalla’s vehicle also entered the ditch. Shalla and one passenger were transported by Dallas County EMS to Mercy One Medical Center Hospital. Fox and one passenger were transported by Dallas County EMS to Methodist Medical Center. Damage to Fox’s vehicle was estimated at $15,000, and damage to Shalla’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000.
