Rural Perry man charged with indecently fondling child

Jacob Adam Paskert, 36, of rural Perry was arrested Tuesday on a charge of indecent contact with a child-forcible fondling.

A rural Perry man was arrested on a Dallas County warrant Tuesday in connection with an August incident in which he allegedly touched a child indecently.

Jacob Adam Paskert, 36, of 18821 170th St., Perry, was charged with indecent contact with a child-forcible fondling.

According to court records, Paskert was shooting pool with a minor female around 2 a.m. Aug. 15, 2021, when he allegedly “did fondle/grope her breasts and buttocks with his hands” and “touched” the victim’s “genital with a pool stick.”

The victim told law enforcement that Paskert also allegedly “made sexual advances towards her,” according to court records.

Paskert allegedly “admitted that he and” the victim “were alone in his garage on the above date and time playing pool,” according to court records.

A warrant for Paskert’s arrest was ordered Dec. 6 and served Dec. 7. Paskert in held in the Dallas County Jail in advance of an initial appearance in Dallas County District Court.

Paskert was convicted of assault causing bodily injury in 2006 in Dickinson County District Court. He was convicted of assault in 2007 in Osceola County District Court.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
