A Granger woman was arrested Tuesday after allegedly threatening to harm a high school student in a text message.

Tina Fay Kramer, 46, of Granger was charged with second-degree harassment and third-degree harassment.

According to court records, “inappropriate text message conversations” occurred around Nov. 20 between Kramer and “a couple of students who attend the Perry High School.” In the texts, Kramer allegedly made “statements of causing physical harm to the victim,” according to court records.

Officers of the Perry Police Department spoke to the victim and his family, who said “they were fearful of the victim being injured,” according to court records.

Kramer allegedly knocked on the door of the victim’s residence about 10:30 p.m. Nov. 29, according to court records. Video and still images from a doorbell camera were provided to the officers, and a trespass notice was served to Kramer Nov. 30.

Kramer was cited and released by the Perry Police Department. She is scheduled for a hearing Dec. 20 in Dallas County District Court.
