Bluejay Choir sings out in winter concert Monday

The 44 third, fourth and fifth grade vocalists who compose the Bluejay Choir staged their 2021 winter concert Monday night in the Perry Performing Arts Center.

Under the directions of Music Directors Devin Schroeder and Abby Peterson, the youngsters performed six songs, “One Bottle of Pop,” “Three Quotes from Mark Twain,” “Every Night When the Sun Goes Down,” “The Crocodile,” “High Hopes” and “My Shot.”

The choir included third graders Afton Meyers, Ashline Ross, Belinda Espinoza, Brooklynn Schwabland, Caleb Harland, Christian Marroquin, Haylee Hernandez, Holland Willis, Juan Ortega-Gonzalez, Kaylin Snyder, Kynlee Cochran, Lauren Finn, Lauren Mcdivitt, Mia Alvarez, Paislee Brokaw, Sarah Wood and Tahaira Lemus.

Fourth grade choristers were Abby Hernandez, Bailey Paskert, Blake Todd, Brenda Hernandez, Carley Ketelsen, Edlyn Iben, Emma Mills, Idally Chavez, Kadence Schwabland, Leyla Girkins, Liam Finn, Lillian Lucht, Makalyn Cochran, Natalie Whiton, Rebecca Diaz-Cardenas and Wyatt Wiles.

Fifth grade singers included Aiden Hibbert, Bryton Ward, Ella Kilts, Jimmie Shields, Joey Maylum, Kate Schuttler, Kylee Hochstetler, Sarah Forbes, Sofia Pineda, Stella Perez and Yohancel Morales-Laureano.
