Reed Wuebker of Perry will compete in the state championship of the Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest Feb. 12 in Grinnell.
The 10-year-old fourth grader from the Perry Elementary School won the local contest in his age division Nov. 13 in Perry and advanced to district competition in Jefferson Jan. 22, where he again attained the victory and brought home a trophy.
Reed is the son of Josh and Jamie Wuebker of Perry.
