A Waukee woman was arrested Wednesday evening after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend with a fork and cracked his windshield.

Jessica Lynee Koeniguer-Law, 26, of 1132 S.E. Mapleleaf Lane, Waukee, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury of mental illness.

The incident began about 8 p.m., in the 1100 block of S.E. Mapleleaf Lane, where officers of the Waukee Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.

The officers made contact with the male victim, who said a verbal dispute occurred about 7:30 p.m. during which Koeniguer-Law allegedly “got angry and stabbed him with a fork and swung with the fork a second time but missed,” according to court records.

The officers observed on the victim “a wound that was fresh” and that appeared to be “consistent with being stabbed with a fork on his left hip,” according to court records.

The victim told the officers that Koeniguer-Law “threw the fork in the parking lot” before she “left on foot,” and the officers “were able to locate the fork in the lot outside of their residence,” according to court records.

The victim also told the officers that Koeniguer-Law allegedly “kicked his windshield in,” according to court records. The officers observed that the windshield was “cracked in multiple spots.”

The officers made contact with Koeniguer-Law at a nearby convenience store. She told the officers “that she believes the victim has gone off the deep end” and “that she did not stab him with a fork,” according to court records.

Koeniguer-Law is held in the Dallas County Jail in advance of an initial appearance in Dallas County District Court.
