A Perry man was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly threatening to knock out a plumber at work in the home.
Frank Casey Shinn, 36, of 1820 Fifth St., Perry, was charged with assault.
The incident began about 7:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of Fifth Street in Perry, where officers of the Perry Police Department responded to a report of “a technician being threatened with bodily harm,” according to court records.
The victim told the officers that Shinn “began to curse and argue with him, then proceeded to stand from the red chair that he was sitting in, approached him within inches of his face with clinched fists and stated, ‘I’m going to knock you the fuck out,'” according to court records.
The victim told the officers “that he felt in direct fear that” Shinn “was going to harm him by punching him with a closed fist.”
Shinn was held at the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. prior to his release on his own recognizance. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing April 21 in Dallas County District Court.
