May 13, 2022
- Fitina Charlotte of Clive was traveling in the 18000 block of Iowa Highway 141 Diagonal when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
- Kram Nasser, 32, of 7800 Iltis Dr.,Urbandale, was traveling in the 18000 block of Iowa Highway 141 Diagonal at a high rate of speed when he attempted to use the left shoulder to pass and lost control on the gravel, the vehicle spinning sideways across the highway, striking a heavy-duty stop sign and coming to rest in the ditch. Nasser was transported to by Dallas County EMS with minor injuries. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2,000. Nasser was issued a citation for failure to maintain control and failure to maintain reasonable and proper speed.

- Michael Scott Schmitz, 34, of 2625 Warford St., Perry, was arrested at the 14185 N Ave., Perry, for criminal mischief and burglary.
May 15, 2022
- Amber Krueger of Urbandale was driving near the 14000 block of Iowa Highway 141 Diagonal when witnesses saw the vehicle driving erratically. The vehicle hit gravel, and Krueger lost control, the vehicle sliding sideways in both lanes of traffic and then rolling onto its top. Krueger was transported by Dallas County EMS to Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $20,000.
May 16, 2022
- David Lee Dugan, 32, of 1908 Evelyn St., Perry, was arrested in the 31000 block of Dexfield Road in Redfield for possess of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.
