- Workers from AAA Trenching parked their work vehicle on the side of the road in the 26500 block of 360th Street while they were working in the area. The vehicle was clearly marked with safety cones and pulled off the travel portion of the highway. A semi-tractor trailer, hauling haybales, passed too close to the parked vehicle and struck the truck with the semi’s load, causing damage to the parked truck. The semi driver continued on without stopping or identifying himself or herself. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,600.

- Joyce Williams, 28, of 1717 Lyon St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Christopher Newman, 23, of 1130 S.E. Mapleleaf Lane, Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Clifford Loghry, 43, of 3108 Garfield Ave., Des Moines, was arrested for driving while license denied, suspended, cancelled or revoked. He was also arrested on an active warrant.
