Any Dallas County resident who wants to cast an in-person absentee ballot in Perry for next week’s general election will have the opportunity to do so Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 1-7 p.m. at the McCreary Community Building at 1800 Pattee St.
Voters may complete an absentee ballot request form on the spot and if they have the proper proof of identity, they may then vote. Voters who have already received and completed their absentee ballots may bring them to the MCB, enclose them within the affidavit envelopes and drop them off in the blue ballot box that will be available only during the satellite voting session.
All ballot styles will be available at all locations, according to Dallas County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections Julia Helm, so voters from any district in Dallas County may vote at the Perry satellite location.
Satellite voting is occurring Tuesday, Nov. 1 in West Des Moines at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 7075 Ashworth Road from 1-7 p.m. It will occur Saturday, Nov. 5 in Clive at the Heartland Presbyterian Church at 14300 Hickman Road from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Voters may also vote absentee or drop off mailed ballots at the Dallas County Auditor’s office at 210 N. 10th St. in Adel during regular office hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, through Monday, Nov. 7, 2022.
The auditor’s office will also be open Saturday, Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
