WAUKEE, Iowa — Two people were found dead in a residence here Thursday morning in what police are investigating as a possible murder-suicide.
Officers of the Waukee Police Department responded about 7:30 a.m. to a report of a possible suicide at a home in the 200 block of S.E. Boulder Court, where they found the lifeless bodies of Nelcybert Estafani Castillo Mata, 26, and Felix Baccam, 36.
There is no threat to the public, the Waukee Police Department said in a statement issued Thursday night.
The investigation is ongoing, and the office of the Iowa Medical Examiner will determine the cause of the deaths.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, Clive Police Department and Waukee Fire Department also responded.
