Pinning ceremonies were held Wednesday afternoon for 17 graduates of the DMACC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Advanced CNA programs, including eight graduates from Perry.
DMACC President Rob Denson congratulated the medical students in brief remarks prior to the pinning ceremonies. Denson was joined by fellow DMACC administrators Provost Joel Lundstrom and DMACC Perry VanKirk Career Academy Director Eddie Diaz.

Instructors for the 75-hours courses were Katie Tuel, Danielle Navarro and Megan Nikolish. Tuel presented the graduates with their pins. The students are now eligible to take the two-part state CNA examination.
