Effective immediately, a half-mile stretch of R Avenue between Iowa Highway 141 and County Road R30 is closed, the Dallas County Secondary Roads Department announced Tuesday evening.
The granular-surface roadway was closed between 13530 R Avenue and Iowa Highway 141 in order to repair or replace a damaged culvert and make repairs to R Avenue.
