- Ethan Asche of Minburn was traveling in the 26000 block of N Avenue when he failed to yield to a vehicle that slowed for construction on the road and collided with a vehicle, driven by Serenity Hulsebus of Grimes. No injuries were reported. Damage to Hulsebus’ vehicle was estimated at $1,500, and damage to Asche’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000. Asche was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
- John Snyder, 40, of 18811 S. Ave., Dallas Center, was arrested for interference with official acts and on a warrant for second-offense domestic abuse assault.
- Justice Grannan, 29, of 805 Roosevelt St., Polk City, was arrested on a warrant for intimidation with a dangerous weapon.
