June 6, 2023
- Andrew Weddle of Johnston was traveling on 240th Street near U Avenue when his vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle, driven by Kobe Julius of Williamsburg. Weddle was transported by Dallas County EMS to Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Damage to Weddle’s vehicle was estimated at $7,000, and damage to Julius’ vehicle was estimated at $7,000.
June 8, 2023
- Dawn Bowles of Storm Lake was traveling on U.S. Highway 169 near Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Christopher Walker of Perry. Both drivers were transported by Dallas County EMS to Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Damage to Bowles’ vehicle was estimated at $40,000, and damage to Walker’s vehicle was estimated at $12,000.
- Phillip Fleming of Nevada was traveling in the 24000 block of Iowa Highway 44 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
- Kami Hilton, 28, of 313 K St., Fort Dodge, was arrested for providing false identification information and violation of a no-contact order.
June 9, 2023
- Jeree Mozee, 26, of 1218 Williams St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a probation violation.
- Maung Soe, 37, of 6705 Crown Point Ave., Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a probation violation.
