June 30, 2023
- Kash Kiburz, 19, of 2303 W. Summit St., Winterset, was arrested on a warrant for eluding and reckless driving,
- Jal Bijiek, 24, of 425 S.E. Waco Pl., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Valerie Heater, 37, of 1507 Eighth St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
- Karime Solano, 22, of 5808 N.E. Third St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
July 1, 2023
- Russell Marler, 41, of 511 E. Second St., Huxley, was arrested on a warrant for operate a vehicle without owner’s consent, failure to obey stop sign, driving while suspended and leaving the scene of a serious injury accident.
- Michael John Kearney of Etna, Wyoming, was traveling on the U.S. Interstate 80 near the 100 mile marker when he pulled onto the shoulder to avoid a collision with another semi-tractor trailer that was stopped in the middle of the road due to an accident when another semi-tractor trailer, driven by Bruce Faust of Arcadia, Florida, pulled between the two vehicles to avoid a collision and struck Kearney’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to Kearney’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Faust’s vehicle was estimated at $1,000.
July 2, 2023
- Shane Davis, 46, of 512 N. Division St., Stuart, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while barred.
- Christopher Adams, 34, of 403 S.E. Jacob St., Grimes, was arrested for OWI and issued a citation for open container.
