July 28, 2023

  • Robert Allen III, 38, of 2713 S.E. Stone Ridge St., Grimes, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of OWI.
  • Anthony Wiah, 34, of 1145 S.E. Olson Dr., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
  • Scott Embree, 40, of 895 Fourth St., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
  • Steve Salinas, 43, of 1033 Collins Dr., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
  • Carrie Erickson of Adel was traveling on K Avenue near J Circle when her vehicle was struck from the rear by a vehicle, driven by Samantha Laws of Adel. Laws was transported by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Erickson’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000, and damage to Laws’ vehicle was estimated at $20,000. Laws was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
  • A minor driver was traveling in the 33500 block of I Avenue when the vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.

July 29, 2023

  • Jesse Ocker of Coon Rapids was traveling on First Street in Redfield at the intersection of High Street when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Zalina Morse of Stuart. No injuries were reported.  Morse was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign and yield right of way.

July 30, 2023

  • Justin Cameron, 36, of 420 Court Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for fourth-degree theft.
  • Jeffrey Hall Sr., 43, of 206 N.W. State St., Ankeny, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft.
  • Patrick Creech, 28, of 4412 E. Fourth Ave., Big Timber, Montana, was arrested for domestic abuse assault.
  • Stephen Allen, 37, of 195 Gray Ave., Waukee, was arrested for OWI, open container, driving while suspended, driving while barred and operating without interlock device.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
