The Perry High School swim team continued unbeaten for the season with Thursday night’s narrow victory at home over Indianola High School.
The final score was Perry 83, Indianola 77. The PHS swimmers saw eight first place finishes and set eight personal best times.
“This brings our record to 7-0, which is history making for this program!” said Coach Jean Dowd. “This was really a total team effort in a very close meet that was not decided until the final race of the night, the 400 Freestyle Relay.”
The meet was scored 8, 4, 2 for relays and 6, 4, 3, 2, 1 for individual events.
