PHS senior Valeria Gomez was crowned the 2023 Perry High School Homecoming Queen Wednesday night, and senior Kain Killmer was crowned the Homecoming King in ceremonies in the PHS gymnasium.
The high-energy pep rally prior to the crowning was kept lively by the PHS football cheerleaders, the PHS swim team, the Perry Pulse dance team and the hard-driving PHS marching band.
The coronation ceremonies crowned a day of homecoming-related activities around Perry, and the fun will continue through Friday, when the Bluejays play the Nevada Cubs at Dewey Field.
