Oct. 6, 2023

Officers received a report of criminal mischief in the 2500 block of Perry Park Avenue. A vehicle was scratched on its hood and side. Unknown estimated loss.

A 2011 Chevy pickup, registered to and driven by Paul Samuelson of 2119 Second St., Perry, collided with a legally parked 2010 Chevy pickup, registered to Jose Jimenez of 2611 Otley Ave., Perry. No injuries were reported. The estimated damage was unknown.

Jason Wesley Ward, 48, of 2514 First Ave., Perry was arrested on a Boone County warrant for failure to appear for a child support hearing.

Oct. 7, 2023

Kyle Douglas Goodman, 34, of 1418 Sixth St., Perry, was issued a citation for for driving under suspension.

Danielle Janette Dalton, 39, of 1125 66th St., Windsor Heights, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under suspension.

Joshua Ray Grimm, 20, of 4025 Briar Cliff Dr., Des Moines, was arrested on a Dallas County Warrant for willful injury.

Christine Carey Quincy, 22, of 1816 Evelyn St., Perry, was issued a citation for second-offense dog at large.

A 2006 Chevy Silverado pickup, registered to Scott Leroy Rinner and driven by Kaylinn Deicie Rinner of 2023 Fourth St., Perry, collided with a 2015 Chevy Tahoe, registered to and driven by Alisandra Rodriguez Tejedaof 2907 Warford St., Perry, in the 2900 block of Warford Street. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,000.

Samuel James Ites, 38, of 3800 University Ave., West Des Moines, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 500 block of North Street. A vehicle’s window was damaged but not broken.

Oct. 8, 2023

  • Junior Das, 38, of 2902 Iowa St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-offense OWI.

Oct. 9, 2023

  • No activity reported.

Oct. 10, 2023

  • Herb Anthony Williams Jr., 2, of 5515 S.E. 14th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
