- Jamal Robert Anthony Palmer, 29, of 624 Willis Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of accessory after the fact.
- Abraham Ramirez, 29,of 1310 Sixth Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for mittimus on original charges of forgery and theft.
October 27, 2023
- James Reeves of El Paso, Texas, was traveling in the 22000 block of N Avenue when his semi-tractor trailer struck a tree in the roadway that had blown down due to the heavy rain and wind. No injuries were reported. Damage to the semi was estimated at $10,000.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
