Nov. 2, 2023
- A 2009 Nissan Rogue, registered to and driven by Yaretzy Loriley Ibarra Riquelme of 1615 Second St., Perry, collided with a 2000 GMC Sierra pickup, registered to and driven by Zachary Scott Shelley of 2644 Willis Ave., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $11,000.
- Officers received a report of theft in the 900 block of Fourth Street. The case is under investigation.
Nov. 3, 2023
- A 2007 Honda Accord, registered to and driven by Maria Jesus Ortega Vallejo of 2902 Iowa St., Perry, collided with a 2010 Ford Eclipse, registered to and driven by Jerry Helmantoler of 1624 Fourth St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $900. Vallejo was issued a citation for failure to stop in safe and assured distance.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
