Nov. 7, 2023
- Zeke Roger Kuehl, 32, of 721 Willliam St., Perry, was arrested on charges of first-offense domestic assault causing bodily injury and fifth-degree criminal mischief.
- Officers received a report of fraud in the 1500 block of Eighth Street. Information was stolen in order to purchase a phone. The case is under investigation.
Nov. 8, 2023
- A 2018 Kia van, registered to Ean Holdings LLC of Normal, Illinois, and driven by Lal Mal Swma of 1560 24th St., Des Moines, struck a deer in the 21000 block of Iowa Highway 141. Minor injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
