November 22, 2023
- Jesselle Miller, 19, of 4706 E. Shelby Road, Medina, N.Y., was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
- Jossiyah Gatewood, 22, of 4706 E. Shelby Road, Medina, N.Y., was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
- Nathan Lattz, 43, of 1712 N.W. Gabus Dr., Grimes, was arrested for OWI.
- Shannon Schumacher, 47, of 402 W. Russell St., Jefferson, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of abandonment of cats and dogs-serious injury or death.
- Barbara Burkhart, 57, of 1806 Rose St., Granger, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
- Brooke Carter, 33, of 406 S. Second St., Winterset, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while barred.

- Shari Lowe, 32, of 318 Marshall St., Dexter, was arrested for providing false identification information, driving while revoked and harassment of a public official or employee.
- Brendan James, 23, of 419 S.E. Second St., Ogden, was arrested on a warrant for operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent.
- Rachelle Larson of Woodburn was traveling in the 17000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
November 24, 2023
- Alfred Ubeda of West Des Moines was traveling in the 34000 block of Ute Avenue when his vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. Ubeda was transported to Methodist Medical Center by Waukee EMS. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $20,000.
November 25, 2023
- Leah Grentzer, 44, of 1500 Woodland Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of fourth-degree theft.
- Jordyn Achenbach-Cain of Menlo was traveling in the 22000 block of the Minburn Road when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
- Nichole McKiernan-Struve of Clarinda was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 104 mile marker when her vehicle entered the ditch and overturned, landing upright. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
- Mason Hawley of Boone was traveling northbound on Iowa Highway 17 at the river bridge, when his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Elizabeth Roberts of Boone. The bridge was completely ice covered at the time of the accident. No injuries were reported. Damage to Roberts’ vehicle was estimated at $1,500, and damage to Hawley’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500.
- Ilya Dobin of Omaha, Nebraska, was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 104 mile marker when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Rosalee Gunderson of Fort Collins, Colorado. No injuries were reported. Damage to Gunderson’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Dobin’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
