Longtime Perry favorites Rukkus will perform at the Perry Elks Club on New Year’s Eve, marking 50 years of bringing rock and roll to an appreciative hometown crowd.
The group’s core members have been making music together since 1974, including lead singer Mark Einck of Perry, rhythm guitarist Jim Wuebker of Grimes and lead guitarist J. C. Wilson of Des Moines.
Susan Thompson penned a rich retrospective of the band for the Lake Panorama Times, with the band mates sharing many stories from their varied careers.
