December 20, 2023
- Devon Auston Ladehoff, 25, of 2833 Eastern Ave., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of OWI and a Polk County warrant for probation violation on an original charge of domestic abuse.
- Chowng Wong, 29, of 1117 Second St., Perry, was arrested on charges of driving while barred and third or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance.

- Cara Ann Goering, 30, of 2811 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on charged of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Jason Richard Spence, 46, of 2726 McKinley St., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for second-degree theft.
December 22, 2023
- Joel Alberto Torres Cruz, 31, of 2907 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-offense OWI.
- A 2004 Ford F150 pickup, registered to Joel Alberto Cruz Torres of 2907 Warford St., Perry, overturned in the 3000 block of Willis Avenue. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $15,000. The driver was issued citations or failure to provide proof of financial liability- accident related, no valid driver’s license, open container and failure to maintain control.
- A 2020 Chevy Malibu, registered to EAN Holdings LLC of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and driven by Robert Alan Barker of 107 N. Second St., Woodward, collided with a 2015 Chrysler, registered to and driven by Barbara Ann Field of 2617 McKinley St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $11,000.
December 23, 2023
- Officers responded to a report of vehicle theft in the 2900 block of Iowa Street. The vehicle was located in another town and returned to the owner.
- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1700 block of Vine Street. The dispute was verbal only.
- A 2015 Volkswagen Jetta, registered to and driven by Daniel Sanchez of 1821 Southgate Dr., Perry, collided with a 2018 Dodge Durango, registered to and driven by Elizabeth Virginia Leo of 1520 Willis Ave., Perry, near Eighth Street and Iowa Highway 141. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,500. Sanchez was issued a citation for use of electronic communication device, age 18 or over.
- A 2009 Toyota Corolla, registered to Ruth Angels Correa of 2216 Warford St., Perry, and driven by Duvan Sanchez of 2902 Iowa St., Perry, collided with a legally parked 2022 Ford Bronco, registered to Blaine Joseph Schmidt of 2300 S.E. Seventh Lane, Grimes, in the 2200 block of Warford Street. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $9,000. Sanchez was issued a citation for striking an unattended vehicle.
December 24, 2023
- A 2001 GMC Sierra pickup, registered to Aimee Linn Parnell of 605 Third St., Perry, and driven by Jose Fidel Bejaranj of 818 William St., Perry, collided with a 2018 Toyota Rav 4, registered to Mirna Claret Lopez Gallardo of 1711 Lucinda St., Perry, and driven by Samuel Martinez Flores of 623 Second St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,000. Bejaranj was issued a citation for failure to provide financial liability-accident related and no valid driver’s license.

- Jessica June Wells, 31, of 410 Second St., Bagley, was arrested on charges of possession with intent to deliver-methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance-marijuana, contraband in a correctional facility, drug tax stamp violation and drug trafficking-methamphetamine.
December 26, 2023
- Christopher Ryan Jenkins, 38, of 1571 175th St., Coon Rapids, was taken into custody and charged with driving under suspension.
- Martin Vidal, 35, of 2020 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on charges of driving under suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia, third-offense possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, child endangerment-methamphetamine exposure, failure to affix tax stamp and drug trafficking.
