Jan. 26, 2024
- Mark Dugan Jr., 44, of 2101 Clark St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for parole violation.
- Cheryl Habr of Granger was traveling in the 17900 block of Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle struck a vehicle, driven by Fausto Beato Amparo of Perry. Habr and a passenger were transported to Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Habr’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Beato Amparo’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Habr was issued a citation for failure to yield while entering through highway, and Beato Amparo was issued a citation for failure to provide proof of financial liability.
- Brennan Rodriguez of Muskegon, Michigan, was traveling in the 35000 block of N Avenue when his vehicle struck a mailbox and entered the ditch. Rodriguez was transported by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Rodriguez’s vehicle was estimated at $50, and damage to the mailbox was estimated at $50.

- A legally pared vehicle, owned by Dennis Block of Windsor Heights, was struck in the 700 block of Marshall Street in Dexter sometime overnight. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $4,000.
Jan. 28, 2024
- Timothy Arnold, 38, of 26710 352nd Place, Van Meter, was arrested for domestic abuse assault, obstruction of emergency communications, first-degree harassment and third-degree criminal mischief.
- Amy Rieks, 45, of 2643 CC Ave, Victor, Iowa, was arrested for speeding, OWI, open container and possession or carrying of dangerous weapon while intoxicated.
