- Ryan Meier of Audubon was traveling in the 11000 block of 240th Street when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,000.
Feb. 12, 2024
- Andrea Smith, 42, of 4685 N.E. 14th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended,
- Daniel Reeves, 37, of 411 California St., Lewis, was arrested for defraud drug/alcohol test and possession of a controlled substance.
- Dominique Peterson, 28, of 322 E. Eighth St., Lamoni, was arrested for OWI, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of contraband in a correctional institution.
