Feb. 16, 2024
- Lindsey Davis, 37, of 1211 E. 32nd St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
- Martin Vidal, 35, of 1214 16th St,, Perry, was arrested on a charge of fugitive from justice.
- Ryan McCormick of Adel was traveling eastward on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 111 mile marker when a semi-tractor trailer, driven by Timothy Dalbec of Iola, Wisconsin, struck McCormick’s vehicle, sending it into the median. In the process, McCormick’s vehicle struck a vehicle, driven by Patrick Rupe of Adel, which also entered the median. Dalbec’s vehicle crossed the median and struck the cable barriers on westbound lanes. Minor injuries were reported. Damage to McCormick’s vehicle was estimated at $50,000. Damage to Rupe’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Dalbec’s vehicle was estimated at $50,000.
- Neal Koob of West Des Moines was traveling on N Avenue near 270th Street when he lost control of his vehicle which entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,000.
Feb. 17, 2024
- Shauna Else, 33, of 305 Fairmeadow Dr., Webster City, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of compulsory education violation.
- Chad Thompson, 44, of 1109 Dale Dr., Winterset, was arrested for OWI and issued a citation for speeding.
- Aileen Barlean of Booneville was traveling in the 22000 block of 360th Street when she experienced a medical issue, and her vehicle left the roadway and overturned. She was transported to Methodist Medical Center by Dallas County EMS. Damage to her vehicle was estimated at $18,000.
- A minor driver was traveling in the 15000 block of J Avenue when the driver’s vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $8,000.
Feb. 18, 2024
- Amanda Westbrook, 22, of 725 S.E. Dartmoor Dr., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
Feb. 19, 2024
- A minor driver was backing out of a driveway on Maple Drive in Adel when the vehicle struck a legally parked police vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $500.
Feb. 20, 2024
- Jason Payne, 47, of 2201 S. Harding St., Oak Grove, Missouri, was arrested on a charge of fugitive from justice.
