A West Des Moines teenager was arrested Thursday after allegedly attempting to sexually assault a Waukee woman.
Ivan Javier Medina Robles, 19, of 5703 Vista Dr., West Des Moines, was charged with assault with intent to commit sexual abuse.
The incident occurred about 3 p.m. Thursday on S.E. Winfield Parkway in Waukee, where Robles allegedly “did follow the victim into her apartment without consent” and “did try to force victim into bedroom,” according to court records.
Robles is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $2,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing May 13 in Dallas County District Court.
